Calling the people of Aberdeenshire ......
know that a workshop for novice drummers has started up in Tornaveen,
at the Fantastic Community hall
...which is about 6 miles from Torphins and +/-30 miles from Aberdeen on the B9119.

It is for beginners and runs every +/- 4 weeks....a lot of fun!!!

All ages from 7 and up (Teddy Bears to) are welcome and all levels can come.

However experienced drummers will get bored...
so keep doing your thing as we can only take twenty people and we shall see you at the festivals :)

We are trying to get new people into this experience so we are really trying to make it affordable for everyone!

For adults we are asking that their is a minimum charge and if you can afford more please do,
so we can start buying our own Djembes drums etc for the group.
At the moment we are very lucky to have some people
sharing their drums..sooooo you can play.

This is not an ideal situation however but it has allowed us to get started.
So a minimum of £10 per adult (usual workshop fee for the day is £25) and £5 for under 12 year olds.

We start at 10.30am and finish around 4.30pm.
Please bring your own lunch and refreshments etc as there are no shops in walking distance.
