Poetry...why here and what does it
accomplish? I have found that if you can summon enough COURAGE
to write poetry about your present emotions or situation that
you are in, then a deep healing begins taking place. It allows
your inner voice to be expressed, which allows your creative
energy to flow. This in turn allows the different chakras
(Energy Centres) to become utilised, as well as both hemispheres
of your brain. So you are allowing a 'whole-istic' ritual
to take place. Great healing, truth and insights are obtained
about your present relationship with 'self'.
I/we (that's you and me) are very blessed
that some poems have been made available by a very brave and
beautiful individual (who doesn't always believe it...sound
familiar). This will allow you to experience first hand someones
most inner secrets, pain and revelations.
What I am trying to share and achieve here is two fold. Firstly,
there are some of you who feel just like the poet does and
will identify with them. Read them and as you maybe identify
with the emotions in your own life, move into the next category
and read some of those. They might not 'connect' with you
immediatly, but your inner creative self will start to sub
consciously explore the possabilities of moving you forward
into new realms. Therfor your present state of stagnation,
self pity, hopelessness etc. has been given the opportunity
of change.
There are three categories to explore. Red, Amber and Green.
The point is that wherever you are in the three stages there
is 'a way out'. That by doing this process you move into a
deeper place of healing and introspection of your 'self'.
This keeps the process of 'change' moving forward in a positive
way. It is 'okay' to be in the space of emotional pain/anxiety
that you have created. It is not however 'okay' to stay
in that place for so long that you become a 'survivor' again.
Life is an ever evolving process...after a given space
of time for your 'mourning', its time to take charge of your
'self'. Get back in the driving seat and move onto the next
stage....come on, it's boring watching the same old reruns...
isn't it?
Secondly you don't have to be the proverbial 'poet'. The words
don't have to rhyme, no one is going to judge it. It is letting
your inner pain 'come out' and be recognised by your Self.
It is my intention that this 'journey' will be as wonderful
as it can be. Know that the hardest part is picking up the
pen and that thousands of us are experiencing exactly the
anxiety you are. You are not alone on this journey, come on...
NOW is the time to start listening to your 'inner self'.
It's your life, make the time, you
are worth it!
