To connect with 'medicine' tools I have it almost a necessity
to take the time to make them. So if you can search and call out to the
Great Mystery that you are seeking a Drum Stick...thats the wooden handle bit.
Walk in the forests, along the beach, in parks and be ever attentive to your quest.
Speak to the trees, you DO NOT want to cut one off a living tree.

You are looking for a piece of wood etc that has weathered the seasons and 'seen'
some of lifes toils and has now given itself to 'become' a tool for sentient beings.
If it is still part of the tree it is still busy with that life experience and not ready to move on!
NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT SPOKE TO YOU!!!
I particularly like using old roots for the handle....what feels comfortable in your hand!
Use common sense, stillness and intuition to find your tools.

If you have a drum please bring it along!
