turnout last year at the first festival...
So
we are planning and putting out the word to all stall holders,
crafters and artists who want to get involved on a commercial
level!

Dear Mr Schroeder
Thank you for sending us
the details of your recent record proposal for '1st multicultural
fest.in a Recumbent stone circle'.

We are afraid to say that
we are unable to accept this as a Guinness World Record.
We have looked at your proposal
in detail but as you yourself mention it would be a first.
A 'first' is not necessarily, in itself, a record ? Records
have to be breakable, measurable
and comparable, e.g. tallest, fastest, heaviest, etc., and tend
to have arisen as a result of a great deal
of (usually international) interest and competition.

As you yourself say 'These
type of stone circles are only found in Aberdeenshire in Britain',
which takes the emphasis away from the 'world'
aspect of record breaking that we recognise.
We appreciate that this
may be disappointing to you. We are always keen to hear from
people who wish to set a Guinness World Record. If you should
need any advice regarding record breaking in the future, please
do not hesitate to contact us, quoting the above membership
number.
